Latest Album News: Bastard Son of a Thousand Maniacs is available! Yes it's true! Bastard Son of a Thousand Maniacs is out. It was a long hard decision but finally the band agreed on releasing 5 of the 9 songs that were recorded for the album. The Forest is happy to have this collection of songs to present to their fans. Some of the songs not choosen for the album will go back in the mix and may come out on the Forest's next album due out in 2009. For copies of the new album email the band at: blackforest@cyrus.com.
Branching Out The members of the Forest are branching out and working on other music projects. Dave is now also playing with the cover band Bite the Bullet. You can see them playing around the area. Harry is playing with former members of Wet Nude-l in a group now called Rotten Timbres. You can check out their MySpace page here. Travis has multiple projects going. He is collaborating with his brother in law Adrian Walther in The Troubadours. You can check out their MySpace page here. Summer Tour 2009 The Forest is gearing up for the Summer 2009 Tour. Some familiar stops are already scheduled for the Tour: June 20th the Forest will once again play the Elk Days Festival, Labor Day weekend they will make the trip up the Pend Oreille River to play the party on the river. Rotten Timbers will once again open the show. It's rumored that the Forest could even play Club Edge in the Spokane Valley. It would be the first time that the Forest have played indoors in ...... well, years. Check out the Black Forest MySpace page for details on the shows.
