Throughout July 2005 the Forest went in to Sack Lunch Recording Studio to lay some tracks for the album Edgecliff. The song that they recorded was an old Black Forest favorite, Midnight and the Moon. This was their first venture back into a non-forest studio in 12 years.
The project was engineered and produced by Travis Romine, the owner and operator of Sack Lunch Recording Studio.
